Upgrade Policy
An upgrade is a major change in the product denoted by a new version number (e.g. 1.0 to 2.0). An update is a minor release represented by a tenth change in the version number (1.1 to 1.2) or a maintenance release denoted by a hundredth change in the version number (e.g. 1.1.0 to 1.1.1).
Purchasing a maintenance support license (single or multi-user) gives you:
• All updates between major versions free of charge.
• All upgrades to new major versions free of charge.
You are only eligible for free updates and upgrades for the first 30 days of your purchase date. Maintenance support agreements are purchased
separately, typically during the initial purchase, from the products. Maintenance supports agreements are renewed annually, and are priced at 20% of the product cost(s).
You can access the latest updates and upgrades by selecting "Check for Updates" from the Help pull-down menu.
Note: You can only upgrade or update to the newest release from our Web site.
